Live Charity Streamers on Twitch
A collection of livestream charity broadcasters supporting Starlight Children's Foundation.
Inception
Calamity__Cat started the Tiltify Team of Twitch streamers, named Stream Heroes, with the help of BlackAppleCreative and DJourneyLouise in November of 2020 during the pandemic That year provided the spark that fueled BlackAppleCreative and DJ to continue through the years, despite Calamity__Cat's departure from streaming after the world went back to "normal". They changed the name to Stream Stars and got to work. Amish_Ace, a Partnered Twitch streamer, joined the team in 2022 and, in 2023, offered his Twitch Partner Team slot to us for use in coordinating raids. Many members also contribute by helping with recruiting and moderating chats as well.
Event history
Our first year in 2020 was tremendous! With over 90 variety streamers participating, $29,259 was raised for Starlight! In 2021, many Twitch streamers returned to work, but that didn't hold back the Stream Stars! 50+ streamers raised $25,095! In 2022, 50+ streamers raised $42,270.02! In 2023, over $69k was raised! In 2024, $48k was raised!
While the event began as an annual campaign in December, streamers have also participated in Mario Day campaigns in March and in September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! To date, the Stream Stars have raised over $300,000 for Starlight Children's Foundation!

About DjourneyLouise
DJ is a variety streamer who lives full-time in an RV, is a student, and an author! They enjoy the odd game when the mood strikes and have even done Food and Drink and Travel and Outdoor streams! Did you know they used to work at NASA?!
In 2025 DJ made the choice to step away from the team to focus on their own endeavours but their contributions were no small feat. They even set up this website in their own time over the many years they gave to the team.
